Biography on Aryabhata Life of Aryabhata-Aryabhata is the first Indian mathematician who made significant contribution to the field of mathematics and astronomy. He was born in a place called kusumpur near Patna in 476 AD. The name of Aryabhata’s father is Shri Bandu Bapu Athawale and the name of Aryabhata’s mother is Shrimati Honsabai Banda Athawale. Arya Bhata, ”A Sanskrit, mathematical, and astronomical treatise.” He wrote the book ‘Aryabhatiya’ In 499 A.D .
